Chained Bracelet

These pretty blue beads contrast nicely with the silver chain to make this easy bracelet.
Materials: 6mm beads, small chain, elastic cord, and wire cutters. You will need more beads than I have pictured here, so make sure you have a lot, or you know you can buy another package.
Cut about 44 pieces of chain, about 2 1/2 inches long. The actual number may vary depending on the size of your wrist, but make sure it's an even number. You will use quite a bit of chain for this bracelet.
Take your elastic and begin threading the beads in the following pattern.
Once you have enough to wrap around your wrist, tie a knot. If you would like to add a dab of glue here, go ahead.
This next part may be easier if you loop the bracelet around something. For the first row, I thought it was helpful, but it was easier without it after that. Thread the elastic through a piece of chain from the right of a bead, and a piece of chain from the left of the same bead. This is what makes the criss cross design. Thread a bead, and then thread through the next two pieces of chain.
Continue with this first row, and tie a knot at the end.
Add more rows following the same pattern. Make sure the chains are making the crossed pattern while threading more blue beads. I did seven rows in total, including the very first stringing row.
Cut the little pieces of chain off the bottom. I stopped when I didn't have enough chain left to do another row.
All finished! I hope you enjoy this bracelet!
Xoxo, Alyssa
